Leaving for good..

Hi there!
I just want to tell you guys that I'm going to delete this blog in the near future. It's been so much fun writing on this blog, but managing 3 blogs and a baby boy is kinda make me overwhelmed. That's why I decided to move all of my posts here to my first blog, Smells Like Coffee, so I could keep writing without being too busily.

If you happened to visit Bandung, you might see a man like this, cycling around with baskets on both sides of his bicycle. He sells one of traditional food from Bandung,"Tahu Gejrot", or may I called: mashed tofu?

Bicycle Club

'Bicycle Club' by NL architects, Hainan, China

Designed by Amsterdam-based NL architects, 'Bicycle Club' is a super great idea of a cycling arena. Using the form of the traditional and functional pagoda, they designed the rooftop elegantly curved upward.

At the ground level, there is a glass-enclosed cafe that supported the open-air velodrome on the rooftop.

Despite of the loud sound and rain controversy on the article's comments column, I really like the idea of the velodrome on the rooftop because it looks fun! And the shady cafe underneath it would be a great place for the cyclists after a few lap of cycling under the sun.

An Interesting Fact About My Country

Here in Indonesia, bicycle (in general) is a very cheap vehicle that majority people could have. That's why, if you ever live or just travel to any city or even village in Indonesia, you will most likely find someone using it on the street. Some of them ride it because they care about the environment, other people ride it because it's trending, and a lot of people ride it for their life. They work with it. And for them, their bicycle is everything..

That first man is a tailor, we call them "Tukang Jahit Keliling". He ride around one or two housing to get some customers, bringing a table with a sewing machine inside. 

Remember a man that ride with a huge bunch of grass behind his bike on my post here? Now this is the illustration of it. These kind of man usually bring grass or straw to feed their cows or lambs. 

And this is "Tukang Siomay", a man that sells various of dumplings. Carrying a little stove in the right box to keep the dumplings hot, plates and forks in the other box and also a bucket of water to wash used plates, and some sauces on the back. Can you imagine how heavy it is..??

Well, that is only 3 of so many people in Indonesia that use bicycle to hang on their life. What a hard worker..

Life Is Like Riding A Bycicle

I am very sorry for the lack of the post lately. I have been busy with so many things including dealing with the bad flu thingy.. For those who are riding in Indonesia or some other country with a not-so-friendly weather, please do take care of your health, and wear a warm clothes during rainy days. ;)

Funny Little Helmets

I was so in love with this series of helmet, especially the eagle one! It just match the color of my Pixy! hihiii.. XD  Too bad they don't have my size. There are only kids sizes, hiks..  :(

She was cycling around Kota Tua Jakarta with her friends and a cute rent bike, pink!

I haven't see Kota Tua by myself but after seeing this, I probably will visit it soon. Just look at these picture I got from Diana's blog! They have some bike rent with super cute colorful city bikes.. Actually I'm not kinda pink girl but I really think that those pinky bikes are adorable! hahaaa.. Ooohh, and they come with a cute hat too! Wanna ride 'em up..!! XD
